Summary. Crowd Clash doesn't need an account and has no analytics of its own. Your game progress is saved on your device, not on a server of ours. The game shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID and other information to show and measure ads; ads are personalized only with your consent where the law requires it, and where that choice applies you can change it at any time. Purchases go through Google Play and are checked by RevenueCat.
This policy explains how the Crowd Clash game for Android handles your information, and will also apply to the iPhone version when it is released. It also covers the crowd-clash.fun website. “We” means the developer of Crowd Clash.
Information stored on your device
Crowd Clash saves your game on your device: your progress (levels, coins, upgrades, skins, kingdoms, daily rewards and missions), your settings (sound, music and vibration) and a record of your purchases, along with a few technical values the game uses to keep daily rewards fair, such as the time zone it was first played in. There is no account, and this data isn't sent to us: we don't run a server for the game.
This data is deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its storage. If your phone's own backup is turned on (for example Android's backup to your Google Account), your phone may include the game's data in that backup and put it back if you reinstall. That backup is managed by your phone and its maker, and we can't access it.
No analytics of our own
The game has no analytics or tracking of its own, and we don't collect information about how you play. The only services that receive information from the game are the ad and purchase services described below.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Crowd Clash shows ads through Google AdMob, using the Google Mobile Ads SDK: reward videos that you choose to watch, and occasional ads between levels. To show ads, measure how they perform and prevent fraud and abuse, the SDK may collect and use:
- your device's advertising ID: on Android, the Android advertising ID (AAID); on iPhone, the advertising identifier (IDFA), only if you allow tracking when the game asks;
- your IP address, which can be used to estimate your general location (such as your country or city);
- information about your device and the app, such as the device model, operating system, language and the app's version;
- your interactions with ads, such as views, taps and completed videos;
- diagnostic information, such as crash and performance data from the SDK.
Personalized ads and your choices
Ads are personalized (chosen using information about your interests) only with your consent where the law requires it:
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the game asks for your choice through Google's consent message before personalized ads are shown.
- In US states with privacy laws, you can opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for targeted advertising.
Where these choices apply, you can change them at any time in the game under Settings → Privacy choices. If you don't consent, or you opt out, you'll still see ads, but they won't be personalized; non-personalized ads may still use limited information, for example to limit how often you see an ad, to measure ads and to prevent fraud.
You can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in your device's settings: on Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your device; on iPhone under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Google's use of this information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and in Google's Privacy Policy.
Purchases (Google Play and RevenueCat)
In-app purchases are made through Google Play, which handles the payment. We don't receive your payment details. Google's handling of your purchases is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.
The game uses RevenueCat, a purchase management service, to validate your purchases and to restore them. When the store is used, RevenueCat receives:
- an anonymous app user ID: a random identifier created on your device that isn't linked to your name, email address or Google Account;
- your purchase history and receipts from Google Play for this game;
- the app's version, your device type and operating system version;
- your IP address.
The game doesn't send your advertising ID or other device identifiers to RevenueCat. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
This website
crowd-clash.fun is hosted by Cloudflare, which receives your IP address and standard request information (such as your browser and the page requested) and keeps standard logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse (Cloudflare's privacy policy). The website has no analytics, no tracking cookies and no ads, and loads nothing from other sites.
Children
Crowd Clash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The game asks Google to limit its ads to a family-friendly ad content rating, though we don't choose the individual ads that are shown.
How long information is kept
Your game data stays on your device until you uninstall the game or clear its storage. RevenueCat keeps purchase records so that purchases can be validated and restored, until we ask it to delete them. Google keeps advertising data as described in its own policies. Cloudflare keeps website logs for a limited time under its policy.
Your choices and deleting your data
- Ads: change your choice under Settings → Privacy choices where it applies, and reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device's settings, as described above.
- Game data: uninstall the game or clear its storage to delete everything it saved on your device. Settings → Reset progress starts the game over while keeping your settings and purchases.
- Purchase records: to have the purchase record held by RevenueCat deleted, or to ask what it holds, email support@crowd-clash.fun. As there are no accounts, tell us roughly when you bought and what, so we can find your record.
If you're in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw your consent at any time (for personalized ads, under Settings → Privacy choices). We rely on your consent for personalized ads, on what's needed to provide your purchases, and on our legitimate interest in running the game and preventing fraud for the rest. To use these rights, email us. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
If you're in a US state with a privacy law
You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for targeted advertising under Settings → Privacy choices, and ask to access or delete your information by emailing us. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the iPhone version is released. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
